Sunday Art Show

I had an awesome time this weekend doing the Lyon's Art on the River show this weekend.  My mom had a booth next to mine and we got to share our work with the locals in the prettiest venue I've ever been to! I met some great folks and got to explore a tiny home that was being displayed on site, it was super cool.

Alex Steps Outside

I have really been enjoying spending time outside with Alex this fall.  Alex is usually reluctant to leave his seductive little collection of IPAD gadgets long enough to really enjoy much anything else, but lately he's been taking a refreshing interest in the outside world.  His respite provider introduced him to sidewalk chalk, which I thought he would hate for sensory reasons and never tried with him myself! Turns out he likes it.  Thanks Galen! We've been coloring up a storm, and also just sitting quietly in the grass, picking little weeds and experiencing the way nature feels in our hands.  I've noticed his energy kind of settling down just a tiny bit, and it's nice!

New Fall Line

I am so excited to be coming out with my fall line of ethically sourced baby clothes.  I really focused on one of a kind special items this season. Everything will be short-run and unique. Vintage fabric is so fun to work with, and is perhaps even more ethical than organic because nothing is more eco-friendly than using what we already have, rather than just producing more!  I sourced some incredible vintage fabrics, and some great new organic prints!  Jeggings are the hero of this season though, as I found some amazing organic  knit denim that makes for super cozy baby jeans/leggings.  They are silent scream cute and coordinate with absolutely everything.  I will also be releasing some very exclusive items using fabric hand painted and designed by yours truly.  It's going to be great. Evergreen

We have really been trying to get outside as much as possible during these awesome but brief fall days, so last weekend we decided to venture out into the CO mountain town of Evergreen.  We had a blast. The air was so fresh, the views were breathtaking, and the town was adorable.  We went on a nice hike and checked out the tiny shops around town.  It was an awesome day and we are loving fall in Colorado this year.
